Let me tell you about Fort Myers – it’s one of the best cities in Florida, hands down! I used to live in Key West and would escape to Fort Myers whenever I needed some peace and quiet in the beautiful Florida sunshine, without all the hustle and bustle. And let me tell you, with Sanibel Island being so close by, it was the perfect getaway spot. But then in 2001, I decided to move to Fort Myers with my family and fell even more in love with the place! Unfortunately, the crash of 2008 forced me to leave for a bit and I ended up living in Colorado for a while. Don’t get me wrong, it was amazing, but I missed the ocean and that Florida weather so much! So, I decided to become an employing broker and opened up my own regional real estate firm with one goal in mind – get back to Florida! I eventually handed over my day-to-day operations to one of my associate brokers in Colorado and made the move back to where I belong – beside the ocean in Florida! And let me tell you, it’s been an amazing experience. I still love Fort Myers and spend as much time there as I can. Once you’ve lived in Florida, there’s just no other place that can compare. There’s nothing like a nice spring storm and the sound of the wind through the palms. It’s so good to have come full circle and be back in my favorite state, Florida!

Fort Myers has always been one of my favorite Florida cities. When I was living in Key West I would visit there when I needed to relax in the Florida sunshine with a little less people around. With it being so close to beautiful places like Sanibel it was a no brainer as a beautiful get away. In 2001 I moved to Fort Myers with may family and loved it. After the crash of 2008 I left for a little while to enjoy mountain life. Living in Colorado was great but I woke up everyday missing my ocean and amazing weather. I became an employing broker and opened a reginal real estate firm with one goal in mind. Get back to Florida! I decided to turn my day to day operations over to one of my associate brokers in CO and make the move back to where I belong. Beside the ocean. This has been a great experience and I still love and spend as much time there as I can. Nothing is like Florida and once you have lived there, no other place will do.
