REALTORS® Show Pride in Their Communities by Cleaning Florida’s Waterways

Naples, Fla., (July 14, 2023) – During the month of July, REALTORS® across Florida take part in Florida Realtors® “Clean Up Florida’s Waters” project. This statewide project encourages REALTORS® and residents to join forces to pick up trash and clean the state’s lakes, rivers, streams, retention ponds, bays, Intracoastal Waterway, Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean during the event.

On Thursday, July 6, members of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®) took part in the cleanup, united with a shared vision to make a positive impact and create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment for our community. Armed with enthusiasm and a commitment to remove as much trash and debris as they could from the Cocohatchee Park and Marina in Naples, Florida, the volunteers made a huge impact with their clean-up efforts.

Realtors Cleaning Florida’s Waterways

In July, REALTORS® across Florida, including members of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®), participate in the “Clean Up Florida’s Waters” project. This statewide initiative aims to clean up Florida’s various water bodies, including lakes, rivers, and oceans. NABOR® members focused their efforts on Cocohatchee Park and Marina in Naples, Florida, demonstrating their commitment to community service and environmental sustainability. NABOR® is an established organization with a 60-year legacy, over 8,000 members, and is part of the National Association of REALTORS®, the largest association of its kind in the U.S. The cleanup event is seen as an opportunity for REALTORS® to contribute to their communities and preserve the natural beauty of Florida’s waterways.
