Sanibel and Captiva Islands

Sanibel and Captiva Islands are part of the Ten Thousand Islands, a chain of islands off the west coast of Florida that extend down to Marco Island. While they’re only connected by a small causeway, they feel worlds apart from everything else. Sanibel is known as the “Seashell Capital of the World” because it’s home to so many sea shells and shell shops.
